Baked Turkey with Vegetables

Ingredients for the recipe:
- Turkey 4.5 - 5.5 kg.
- Onions, cut into slices
- Carrots, cut into strips
- Cut apples into slices
- Greens (rosemary, parsley), chop
- Ghee
- Salt
- Freshly ground pepper
Recipe preparation:
Preheat the oven to 160 C. Dry the thawed and gutted turkey with paper towels, then grate the outside and inside with salt and pepper.
Stuff the turkey with chopped vegetables and herbs, then put the breast up in the baking dish and pour the melted butter. Cover with foil and put in the very bottom of the oven, bake for 2 hours (if the turkey is larger, add an additional 15 minutes for every half a kilogram of turkey mass).
Remove the foil, pour a large amount of ghee
and raise the temperature in the oven to 220 C. Bake the turkey until golden
brown.
