Sooji Ka Halwa /Semolina Sweet Dish
Ingredients:
- Soji 1 cup (250gm)
- Butter 150gm
- Sugar 175gm
- Hot water 750ml
- Cardamom seeds 10-15
- Coconut & raisins 100gm
Method:
Add butter in a pan, then add sooji/semolina, fry till lightly golden, then add cardamom seeds, fry for 1 minute, then add raisins and coconut, cook further 1 min, add sugar, mix well, now add hot water, stir continuously till semolina absorb all water, cook till thicken on medium flame. Serve hot or refrigerate for kids.
Cooking time: 35-40 minutes
